I am certainly new to weinre, so bare with me...   Weinre appears to be running just fine.  I can connect locally (through ip address 192.168...) and all is fine.  However, if I then try to connect through my ipad, it just hangs.  I can see the target in the client locally on my laptop (Win7 X64), which is as expected, but no magic on the ipad, just times out.  I have tried this in safari and chrome and same thing.

Any help would be much appreciated.  I have to be missing something stupid...

Cheers
Lee

Sounds like a runtime error occurred while you were debugging.  Coulda been that somewhere in your code was a "use strict" that caused a problem.  Best thing to do at that point is to try enabling the console logging on the iPad, put a bunch of console.log()'s in your code.

Or, if you have a Mac, you can debug with the real remote web inspector, and bypass weinre entirely.

Okay, I'll have a closer look for an error.  No Mac to turn on the remote web inspector unfortunately.
