Dear eClubbers,

Disappointing end to the year 2011. We have lost 4 members this year and we have no President for 2012-13. Members who have not been the President of our eClub are Jeff, Janie, Bob, Kasun and Sony. Jeff has been DG of our district though. Kristin has chosen to the the Secretary and Jeff the treasurer. Looking forward to a new leader for the year 2012-13.
I believe that new blood in leadership positions brings in a new style of functioning and new ideas. New leaders tend to be more passionate. All they need is a good understanding of the vision of Rotary and they will be successful. I will willingly be a mentor to the new leader or there is either Jeff or Conrad to do the mentoring.

Kristin is working on a Matching Grants project in Haiti. And we are supporting her full heartily. Best wishes to her as she does good to the people in Haiti.

Yours In Rotary,

Bharat

"W hy are we all in Rotary? I believe we are here because we care, and because we see both what’s wrong in the world, and what’s right. And we want to carry forward what’s good, build on it, expand on it, help it grow – while taking a hard look at what needs to be changed in our lives and then doing what we can to change it."

WHile we do appear to be devoid of a titular leader, we are awash in leaders from behind. It seems we are a club comprised of leaders who are so busy doing things in their own lives and communities that that takes up the time and energy necessary to be a Club leader. Does anyone have the wherewithal to steer the Club over the next year??

I urge everyone to search within themselves to see if we can come up with someone to heard the group over the coming year....

Yours in Rotary, Jeff
