Menu's

Whenever I want to change my menu items I have to go into each
individual page and update it which can be very time consuming. I’ve
used iframes to get around this but was wondering if there was a more
efficient way of implementing and updating menus.

I would need to know more about your app to be able to help any, but
yes, there are several things you can possibly try to help with things
like that.

Possibly, Javascript, DHTML, JSON or AJAX would be some suggestions
depending on your app already (and SEO needs). If your using iframes,
then AJAX may the easiest to accommodate (fetch the iframe pages with
AJAX and return the content dynamically).

If your Webserver supports PHP
I would suggest that you look in to a project called http://www.smarty.net/
its a really simple and easily to learn template system.

Once you have a template of your site, there will be a single page for
your menu and one place to update.
