*POSITION OVERVIEW:*

Under direction of the Director of Software Development, the Web Content
Specialist participates in the designing, creating, producing, and
maintaining of web content that meet established specifications, design
criteria, quality standards and business requirements with minimum
supervision.

PRIMARY *DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES/EXPECTATIONS*:

• Designs and maintains content, user interface, and graphic features for
client websites, as well as online-based creative marketing materials, such
as email campaigns and banner ads.

- Translates design concepts into functioning websites.

- Converts screen mockups into working HTML and web asset files, including
but not limited to graphics, Flash, and ASP.NET user controls.

• Proof reads and edits web content for accuracy and style coherence.

• Acts as the Administrator and primary Editor for the content management
system.

• Reviews content changes with stakeholders and obtains approval signatures
to proceed.

• Participates in quality assurance and user acceptance testing of web
content projects.

• Manages the work queue and release schedule for web content changes.

• Participates in the definition and documentation of style guides, design
principles, and UI

- concepts

- Makes recommendations to improve operating efficiency and functionality
of assigned systems areas.

• Provides regular status reports to all levels of Management.

• Follows established code guidelines and best practices.

- Reviews and analyzes the web environment to make recommendations for
improvements and/or upgrades

• Assesses technology risk, potential severity, probability and strategy.

• Maintains a high degree of knowledge on current technologies and tools.

- Adheres to all policies and procedures concerning all confidential
information including but not limited to internal use and restricted
information, including Protected Consumer Information (PCI) and Protected

Health Information (PHI).

• Adheres to all Company Health and Safety policies and procedures.

- Administers duties as defined by the Client performance review plan
within the required deadlines.

• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

*Qualifications:*

*REQUIRED*

• 3+ year’s professional experience designing dynamic websites.

• 1+ year’s development experience with ASP.NET.

• Extensive knowledge of HTML, DHTML/XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, IIS, XML, and
cross-browser compatibility related issues.

• Experience developing and maintaining Flash applications.

• Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Dreamweaver,
Illustrator, etc…).

• Experience using a Content Management System.

• Strong understanding of web design concepts – usability, page layout, and
navigational structures

• Experience creating, modifying, and optimizing web page graphics and
layouts.

• Knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing
(SEM), and web analytics

• Knowledge of the Unicode Standard for supporting Spanish characters in
HTML.

• Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with
technical, business, and management staff.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop cohesive
working relationships with internal and external clients.

• Strong time management and organizational skills.

• Ability to manage multiple deliverables in a highly energized and
fast-paced environment within a framework of constantly shifting deadlines
and deliverables.

• Flexibility to adapt to change and willing to learn and develop new skill
sets as applicable.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS DESIRED (all of these would be pluses, but none is
absolutely required)

• Experience using Omniture Publish content management system.

• Fluent in Spanish – verbal and written.
