Subject: Launching different portal urls from composite application

Hi ,

I have 4 different Webcenter portals ... and one composite portal
application.  In order to launch the other portals from the composite
application without requiring again to login, i think OAM single sign on is
required. Is my understanding correct? or Can we achieve this without
Single sign on? Assume that they are on same OID repository.

Regards
Prasath.C

Hi,

Actually, you can use Federation Services to provide Single Sign On between
Weblogic Servers.

Am I right guys? But I think that OAM is easier.

Hi  Prasath,

Yes, you need to implement one of the solution of SSO in order to access 4
different portals from the composite portal application. The OAM is the
recommended SSO solution for production environment.  You can't achieve
your objective without SSO even all your portal applications are using OID.

Imran
