  No, haven&#39;t looked into it.   I agree Chromium is super fast.   Hmm, I&#39;ve found some hardware where a command that really should work &lt;br&gt; like `xvideomode=1024x768` (Webconverger boot option) which actually &lt;br&gt; runs `xrandr -s 1024x768` fails with: &lt;br&gt; Size 1024x768 not found in available modes &lt;br&gt; `xrandr` alone outputs the valid modes it has detected btw. &lt;br&gt; Of course the &amp;quot;work around&amp;quot; as you guys discovered is to write the
