No DHCP network found on miniPC

I would like to use Webconverger on a USB stick for a public miniPC
(eBox-8400 - http://www.glomos.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=76&Itemid=104)
but for some reason DHCP won't work on this box. So I have to assign a
static IP-setup. Can this be done on an USB-image? I can't find a dir
webconverger/config/chroot_local-includes/etc/network/interfaces as is
mentioned on http://webconverger.org/networking/.

And I'm a real Linux-n00b...

Does DHCP work with another hardware?
Does DHCP work with another OS installed on this box?

Find out if webconverger detects your NIC:
1) modify your USB stick and remove nosudo (http://webconverger.org/
boot/)
2) shift+alt+enter for a terminal
3) sudo ifconfig -a

After the last command something like this should be displayed:

Though, I doubt you'll be able to build Webconverger as a "n00b"..
Sort out DHCP, that's easier. :)

This seems to be a hardware-issue. Webconverger works fine with DHCP
on other workstations and Windows Embedded doesn't work with DHCP on
the miniPC too. VGA is a problem with this miniPC too. Lots of
monitors do not work in X (resolution-frequency too high > going to
black). We're on the road of Windows Embedded now. With Internet
Explorer or Firefox in kioskmode and as shell works pretty nice...

You are able to tweak the screen resolution easier with a boot option,
documented at http://webconverger.org/boot/

append xvideomode=640x480
