Hi,

Thank you for providing an incredibly useful distribution, we are
planning on using it live next week. This is probably something
trivial for a Debian user, but is there any way to change the default
volume level? I understand it is not possible to control it from the
browser, but, is it possible to configure this in the build?

Much thanks,
Richard

Since this functionality is implemented in Webconverger base:

http://git.webconverger.org/?p=webconverger-base.git;a=blob;f=debian/webconverger.init;h=bafcff05f09f709cae426e3efb651cb7248193b8;hb=HEAD#l55

... it's difficult to toggle. I presonally dislike software volume
controls. I prefer to see hardware volume controls, so I don't think
I'll add an option unless I get a torrent of requests.

Kind regards,

Hi Kai,

Thanks for your reply. That was exactly what I was looking for. In the
end however it was easier to put some headphones available with a
manual volume control.

Thanks again for such a brilliant distribution and providing such
great support. If you are interested we shall be running webconverger
tomorrow night in the Ovada gallery in Oxford and will be there till
the end of October.

Cheers,
Richard
