I have problem starting up Webconverger. Everytime I boot up
Webconverger, the monitor display:"Video mode not supported". I have a
fairly old CPU, with SiS vga card and Samsung SyncMater 151s (that's
why I want to use it as internet browsing only).
Please note that it happen after the booting process, so grub working
just fine.
Anybody can recommend me how to solve this? Is there any paramete that
I should add at boot? I try vga=771 & vga=788 with no success...
Thanks for the quick reply. Unfortunately 3.1 doesn't solved the
problem. I do some googling and found out that there are some problems
with linux using SyncMaster 151s, and majority solve it be
reconfiguring X-Server (http://nixcraft.com/linux-hardware/810-video- mode-not-supported.html).
Is there any easier way to do it? like adding something in boot
parameter? I'm an average user and and reconfiguring x-server (I
think) is beyond my capability.

Could you please note on the wiki what happens with less than 128 megs of memory? :)
I can't add note on your wiki since your wiki require older OpenID
version that mine.
Anyway, if you have 64 megs ram, Firefox might fail to load or take a
very long time to load (the screen only show static Webconverger
wallpaper, while the CD ROM drive LED blinking). Sometimes it appears
the X is restarted.
You can start it just fine with 96 megs of RAM! So, think this is the
lowest RAM requirement. But keep in mind that it might take a long
time to boot..
Anyway, I just noticed that my CPU actually a Pentium II 233 Mhz :-)
