Ive cribbed some php code from net that displays a random page every x
secs from index.php. I currently have 6 test pages page1-6.html. It
works well but id like to play in order and maybe have different
times. It also may be nice to pull the data from mysql.

Any suggestions ?

Hire a PHP programmer. They are plentiful and should know how to pull
some stuff from mysql.

I don't know of any existing Web application, though that sounds like
a good little business idea. Everyone needs signs or rather software
to drive those signs.

Hardware is fairly inexpensive and Webconverger is upto the task of
delivering the message.

Yes webconverger is fantastic and well upto the job.

Unfortunately as im yet to return any profit i will have to roll my
own. In fact 1yr with no returns, a builder unpaid and over 145k of
life savings spent! I do however have an empty shop front, old
hardware and need to do my best to advertise some residential lets in
the lead upto xmas which is a dire time to let anyway.

What i have now will do the job. I was after cut & paste cribs to
improve but i guess i can learn enough php if i find the time!
