Have you ever tested this kind of hardware?

Q. Which OS is installed on the Touch Book?
A. The Touch Book will ship with the Touch Book OS by default. Since
the Touch Book has been designed with the help of a vibrant open
source community that believes in diversity, you can install many
other OSes, including Google Android, Ubuntu, Angstrom, and Windows
CE. You are free to do whatever you want.

When Ubuntu works on this hardware webconverger should work too. Maybe
some additional drivers are needed.

Touch screens should just treat input the same as a mouse. So it
should work ... with some luck. :)

Oh course a touch screen with Webconverger will be very painful for text entry.

I did some research into virtual keyboards sometime ago:

Ok I did some search/reading

-> TouchBook is based on the BeagleBoard hardware that can run Debian
thus should be able to run Webconverger...
