Hello,

I've been getting the following error recently building off the repository

ERROR: No configuration file found
No DEFAULT or UI configuration directive found!
boot:

I've rebuild my workstation using both ubuntu 12.04 & debian 6.0.5 with no luck.  building with root in ubuntu as well. The only other error I receive is:

E: Could not open lock file /var/cache/apt/archives/lock - open (2: No such file or directory)
E: Unable to lock the download directory

All of the other previous errors are gone when Kai made the corrections for newer lb

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I noticed the problem on my local build server, but not hetty
http://webconverger.org/servers/

I have not solved the problem, but I quickly worked around it by
downgrading to a47 from
http://snapshot.debian.org/package/live-build/3.0~a47-1/

Kind regards,

FWIW, it seems to work with latest live-build from git again (not the
released a53, which is bugged, but the debian-next branch from
live-build.git). In other words, a54 will probably work again with
Webconverger.
