Hi,

is it possible to check version of Webconverger within running Webconverger? Maybe something like about:***? I need to check if upgrade was successful.

Thanks for the answer.

Does this upgrading thing working all by itselves? Or how can I upgrade from v17 to v18? I have WebC v17 installed on HDD. Do I just run WebC and leave it alone for a while? Because my network card doesn't seem to have a lot of traffic.
I already tried to leave it alone for about 15 minutes (I have about 4Mb bandwidth) and then restart it. It is still v17.

Many thanks

Yes it should upgrade automatically.

You can see what's going on, by using debug mode http://webconverger.org/debug/

And `grep upgrade /var/log/*`, and also watch the git fetch.

Does it upgrades only on paid customizable version or on all vesions?
I have a free default installed version from http://download.webconverger.com/.
I can't use debug mode because there isn't one on installed version.

All versions since version 15 IIRC.

There is a trick to hold down Alt or Shift keys, and you will get a
prompt. This is mentioned upon http://webconverger.org/debug/

I finally get to the boot: prompt, but no matter what I type, it says could not find kernel image. Where's this kernel image located? Is there any command for help like "-help" or something simmilar?
And my Webconverger still won't upgrade.
Thanks

Hi there Uroš,

Are you using http://dl.webconverger.com/latest.iso or your own self built ISO?

Could you please try the latest version? 19.1 at time of writing.

Can you test in a Virtualbox instance? http://webconverger.org/testing/
