Hi all and sorry for the crosspost to different lists,

this is a roll call to see if there's any interest in a full-day
training/workshop
on "Connecting Hardware to Flash and Flex".

Justin McLean from Sydney, a very good friend of mine is the most
renowned
expert on that in the AsiaPacific region and it's amazing what you can
do with
Arduinos, Zigbees and Flash-based applications.

Justin has presented on this topic at various conferences and has done
full-day
practical workshops on the topic.

As I said - this is just a call for interest so far and I'd love to
hear back from
anyone who'd be interested in joining such a session in case I could
get Justin
to come over. Attendees would not have to be electronics experts, a
basic
techie-knowledge and programming skills should be fine.

To give you a rough idea of the cost - provided we get a group of
about 6 to 8
people together, the cost would be around 250 NZD for the day. The
event would
be in WELLINGTON.

This pricing is pretty much covering the cost and not creating
profits. It also
already INCLUDES hardware and equipment worth about 100-120 NZD - you
basically get everything you need to start soldering and playing with
it - bring
your own laptop though (no, all is safe - there's a USB cable to
connect to your
laptop, no soldering on that end :-)

Cheers
Kai
