Action Alert Reminder!  3 Lanes = Safer for All.
Show your support for the Jackson Ave Conversion.

Come to a public meeting tomorrow, Tuesday, July 10. Show up any time from 5-8pm, but we hope to bring out the biggest crowd from 6-6:30pm.

MDOT is getting cold feet about making safety improvements on Jackson Ave. They need to hear that you support this project. Read more on our site, including details of the project.

The open house-style meeting will be held at Abbot Elementary School, 2670 Sequoia Parkway, Ann Arbor.

Optional Bike Ride: Arrive in style... by bike! Meet at Liberty Plaza at 5:15pm.

If you can't attend, please sign our petition. If you've already signed it, ask a friend to.

Opponents of this project are likely to attend, so we please pop into this open house-style meeting. MDOT needs to keep hearing that we support this project.

Thanks!

Ken,

There's not a lot specifically about the open house on July 10 in this
article: http://annarborchronicle.com/2012/07/13/jackson-avenue-mdot-stays-in-its-lane/
But there's an overview of how things stand.

Cheers,

Dave

Thanks, Dave!  That history is one of the things I wanted to understand.
