Anybody here commute to Toyota Engineering Center (TEMA) from the West
Side of AA? What routes are your favorites? How are the bike parking
opportunities?

Copying Emilie, who bike-commuted to TEMA from the Packard/Platt area for several years. I'll fwd her response back to the group.

Thanks a lot, but I'm asking about Woodbridge Road.

I just had an interview there and am expecting an offer this week.

Hi Ken,
I assume you are speaking of the York campus. I used to live in the neighborhood bounded by Platt and Packard, so I just took Platt all the way there. There is a decent bike lane until Ellsworth or so, and the rest was pretty straightforward riding.
There were bike racks by each of the side entrances that were never close to full. I always lock my bike because I'd rather be safe than sorry, but many folks didn't bother.
Depending on how sweaty/late I was, I'd either run down to the gym in the basement o shower or just freshen up in the bathroom just inside the badge reader.
Hope this helps,
Emilie
