Former Susquehanna property WARM The Mighty 590 (Scranton, PA) where
your correspondent toiled in 1964 and 1965 has fallen victim to
deferred transmitter maintenance.

WARM was a sister station to WICE in Providence where several of our
listmembers were on the air.

The mighty keep falling...sad to hear this, Jack, although from Fybush's
description the place was but a shadow of a ghost of its once-mighty past.
(And yes, I, like you, am a WICE alum - another mighty powerhouse consigned
to memory....)

On a happier note, is anyone on this going to the Brown reunion this year?
It's my 40th (ouch - it hurts to say that; that's a BIG number) so I guess I
should go while I can still scamper around campus under my own power! We're
thinking of campus dance and maybe a forum or two on Saturday, plus hanging
with friends. I'll have my cell phone with me; contact is welcome!
