September 24th, 2010, just after equinox, we Portlandians are planning a major fire arts festival. We have a venue, a date and... okay, we're still lacking a name. Perhaps you can think of one?

I'll be at the Regional Burner Night on Monday, June 29th to take down emails, show some pictures of the property, outline the business plan, and answer questions.

WHAT: Information about a large regional fire event for the public, Sept 2010
WHEN: Monday, 6/29 (one week from now)
WHERE: 1701 E Olive Way, Seattle, WA , map!

Basic Overview:
Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Public arrives for a county-fair style event till dusk (7pm). 7pm - 9:30pm, Circus/Fire/Propane fire show.
9:30pm - 10pm - Sweep the event
10:30pm - 7am - All night electronic music event

Sunday night: crew only afterparty.

For more information or to get signed up on the email list for this event, email deadl...@watershedpdx.com, call 206-383-7306, or show up to burn night in a week!

Hey Everybody,

It's Monday and that means another Monday Burn Night at the fabulous Cafe Metropolitain.

Tonight we are featuring Regional Contacts, the fine folks who connect all of us here in the great, grey, green, greasy Northwest with Burning Man, the event and the organization. Come on down and get questions answered, learn about how the Northwest fits into (and in some way leads) the greater global Burner Sphere and, as always, chat, chew and drink with your fellow burners.

This is for bright eyed, bushy tailed Newbies, crusty deep playa vets and everyone in between.
Happy hour from 6 - 7
$4 Manny's and 25% off regular menu food from 7 - 11

WHAT: Summer Burn Nights at the Cafe Metropolitain
WHEN: Every Monday night, 6 - 11

See you there, my lovelies,
