Help about gap filling on gauging station

Hello,

I work in a hydrology and hydrogeology research group in CETEC Foundation (a Research Institute) and in Ouro Preto Federal University, both in Brazil. I’m doing a difficult work on gap fillings in gauging stations (waterflow), with a very large database. I would like to know what tools you are using for gap filling, using gauging and/or rainfall stations. What would be the best software for this work?
