Sitemaps
--------

We’re going to generate an HTML sitemap (broken into pieces smaller
than 100 kilobytes) to facilitate site crawling, maybe a Google XML
sitemap too.

Spam
----

No new spam noticed, so we’re postponing the “spinner” algorithm until
later.

What we've done, what we'll do
------------------------------

Aaron has been:
* trying to think about what to put into the next funding proposal,
* talking to various transparency groups to get their input and ideas,
  and
* working with Simon to write something up
Plans to:
* get us funding next week, hopefully

Devi has been:
* working on the politicians having conflicting IDs
* fixing that bug
* completing drafts of petitions
* looking at how to generate a sitemap to make the site crawlable
Plans to:
* do sitemap.

Kragen has been:
* working on vision document
Plans to:
* fix a bunch of small things this week,
* post meeting minutes,
* check out some lobbyist-disclosure parsing code (today)
  (note: actually did this last week, but forgot to mention it)
* post further thoughts on the vision thing,
* handle FEC filing amendments,
* import FEC expenditures into the database,
* profile the FEC filing contribution data in preparation for
  importing it,
* read more about approaches to ETL,
* try out one of the open-source ETL tools.

Becky has been:
- working on new layouts for the new direction, and
- exploring visualizations.
- working on FEC layouts.
- getting cards shipped; they’re in press this week.
Plans to:
- ship cards (needs everybody's addresses);

- continue on the new design and the FEC layout (donor pages,
  employers, lobbyists, etc.)

Simon has been:
- working on the proposal.
