Hey guys!
So due to my recent stint in the Tucson emergency room and how busy the end of the semester is getting, we were thinking it would be easier to do elections via e-mail. If you are running for a position (or multiple) please send me your little speech blurb or
whatever by noon tomorrow (Thursday) at which point I will compile the speeches into an e-mail and send out the e-mail about voting and approving the constitution change. I am sorry about the change
in plans, but we figured we would be able to get more people's input this way. You can still decide to run for something if you have not yet told me; however, you must submit a short (like one paragraph) speech to be considered in the running.
The positions and the people running thus far are listed below:
Co-President
-Matt Burkhardt, Ali Goodyear, Jeffrey Kallen
The other co-president spot will be filled by myself. I have already talked to the other candidates and they all have requested that I stay on as a co-president to help guide the newer co-president. When voting for this position, you will only be voting once.
The spot of treasurer will be kept by Lori Xu as it is very difficult to learn.
Match Play Coordinator x1
-Lauren Paley
Practice/ Player Coordinator x2
-Lauren Paley, Kelsey Garnett, Alex Liu, Ali Goodyear, Jeffrey Kallen, Jon Bauer
SCB Rep
-Jon Bauer
Webmaster
-Jon Bauer
Community Outreach
-Jon Bauer
You are allowed and encouraged to run for multiple positions; however, please make your preference order clear.
I know this is kind of difficult to understand and that my sentences are not free flowing right now, so please do not hesitate to ask me any questions you may have.
Thank you,
Mallory Highstein
