My name is Mike, and I am a recruiter with The Maven Group. I wanted to
take an opportunity to see if any talented PHP folks around the DC area
would be interested in being part of new API development team being built
by one of my favorite clients. These guys are a small Defense contracting
and solutions based in the DC area and have recently been awarded full
funding on a new project. This is hot out of the oven and the icing is
still gooey :) They are ready to put people in seats NOW!!!

They have a need for 4-5 talented developers with expertise in designing
and building RESTful APIs. They are a dynamic team of very experienced
leaders in the opensource technology field, and all of their projects work
around exciting technology stacks. This is a great opportunity for a select
few to be on the ground floor with a lot of visibility on a high profile
Defense project. The work can be done remote, though you will have a lot of
interaction with the team via skype and occasional visits to DC if the DoD
end-client requests it.

They are open to a wide range of experience levels, and the comp package
will be in the neighborhood of $90-120K/yr. The only definite is US
Citizenship is required, and likely you will need to obtain a DoD Secret
clearance. These guys are very passionate about technology, mostly
opensource, and love bringing candidates on board that share that passion
and enthusiasm for technology.
