The purpose of this forum is to organize the key information related to repairing washing machines. The forum is chiefly centered around the work or replacing the bearing and seal for the main shaft of a washing machine. This is the most difficult repair that can be done on one of these machines so if you can accomplish this task then you have done something! And, there is nothing that you can't do on this and other appliances in your home. The message: You Can Do It! And, this forum is here to help!

The founder of this forum also created a bearing and seal repair kit to make the repairs possible and less costly for many of the washer models. The manufacturers require us to purchase the entire tub assembly (front or rear) when all we need is a new set of bearings and a seal.
