Another B.C. trucker caught as part of a multi-million dollar drug
smuggling ring linked to the Hells Angels pleaded guilty in a Seattle
courtroom Thursday.
Chilliwack resident Richard Jansen, 33, admitted he used his Scorpion
Transport company to truck 158 kilos of B.C. bud across the border
last June 5.
The drug shipment was just one load from more than 1,700 pounds of
cocaine, 7,000 pounds of pot and about $3.5 million U.S. that have
been seized by authorities or linked to the drug ring.
Jansen will face a minimum of five years and a maximum of 40 when he
is sentenced by Chief U.S. District Court Judge Robert S. Lasnik on
April 10, the U.S. Attorney’s office said in a release.
Jansen was arrested following a three-year investigation into the ring
led by Hells Angel associate Robert Shannon, of Maple Ridge, and car
dealer Devron Quast, of Abbotsford.
Both Shannon and Quast pleaded guilty last fall and are in U.S.
custody awaiting their sentencing in March. They will face at least 10
years behind bars each. The indictment said they were the leaders of
the international drug gang working "on behalf of the Hells Angels
Motorcycle Club."
The U.S. court has so far not revealed how the Hells Angels is linked
to the drug traffickers, but the The Vancouver Sun found photos of
Shannon posing with full-patch Vancouver Hells Angel member Hal Bruce
Porteous.
Another man photographed with Porteous is Jody York, a Langley trucker
and associate of the Independent Soldiers gang who had his house shot
up last fall.
The Sun earlier revealed that Shannon, Jansen and York also started
another trucking company together called Image Logistics, specializing
in shipments to the U.S.
Jansen admitted his role was to facilitate the shipment of marijuana
by truck across the border. Court files said the drugs were hidden
inside hollowed-out logs on trucks, within the false walls of cargo
containers and vehicles, within loads of commercial lumber, inside
large plastic pipes, and in the interior of a propane tanker.

calling for it to be banned as a terrorist org.

The White Rock chapter Sgt.Of Arms, Villy Roy Lynnerup, recently was
arrested for trying to board an airplane at YVR
with a loaded firearm. Was probably going to crash the plane into the
Downtown courthouse or hold the passengers hostage in exchange for
the
release of Moms Boucher and all imprisoned full patch members. All
the
Hell's Angels, their supporters, associates etc. should be imprisoned
for twenty years
their children put in foster care and their assets seized.
Ppl are trying to get HAMC listed as a terrorist org. If you support

then write letters to editors of local newspapers and your local MP.
As well John Les the solicitor-general of BC before he resigned has
advocated banning
the wearing of gang colours such as biker patches in bars. Perhaps
John VanDongen can finish the job he started. Since HA
is
known to frequent Brandi’s and the Cecil and has links to
various bars in BC that would be an improvement. The gang has a
history of intimidating
bartenders, infiltrating unions involved in the bar industry, beating
and killing strippers and beating customers to death at random for no
reason. Contact your MLA as well as the local media and tell them you
want this implemented sooner rather than later.
VPD is appealing again for info about the homicide of Maria Yvette
Monzon who was shot dead on the westside of Vancouver. She was killed
by HA but the police have never stated that. There is a reward.
Colleen Reiter (Ryder?) of Surrey was killed by HAMC but the RCMP
refuse to confirm this.
