Tytuł: Hadoop Ecosystem overview and more details about HBase
Prelegent: Kai Voigt
Sponsor: Cloudera
Zapowiedź:
"Kai Voigt is a senior Hadoop instructor at Cloudera [1], living in Germany. In this talk, Kai will present the Hadoop ecosystem and then focus on HBase [2]. Hadoop at its core is a distributed file system (HDFS) with a distributed programming layer (MapReduce) on top. Around these two components, the Hadoop ecosystem provides additional tools to import and export data with HDFS. These tools are Sqoop [3] and Flume [4] and FUSE-DFS [5]. Additionally, on top of MapReduce, several high level tools exist to simplify querying your data. Hive [6], Pig [7], Mahout [8] will be covered briefly. HBase is a real-time low-latency key-value store on top of Hadoop. Kai will give a detailed insight into what HBase looks like and how you can use it with your big data problems."
Serdecznie zapraszamy!
