Walmart planned for Riggs Rd and South Dakota Avenues

Does anyone have any current news regarding this topic?  I understand having a Walmart would create revenue for the City and jobs.  However, does it have to be less than 1.5 miles away from another planned Walmart?  Less than 5 miles from another significant planned development - Costco, Shoppers, Target?  In addition less than 1 mile from the planned development at the bottom of the Ft. Totten Metro?  Mayor Grey and the City Council do you know what a traffic nightmare this is going to cause?
