Nora Gedgaudas has a chapter in her book Primal Body, Primal Mind called
Taming the Carb-craving Monster. Aside from eating essentially a paleo
diet, the 2 things that really helped me overcome the carb cravings
while I eliminated all sugars including grains, etc. are high amounts of
omega 3 fish oil and l-glutamine. She gives lots of other ideas. Her
book is available through the Bellingham library. While Nora doesn't
suggest coconut oil for carb cravings, I think it works really well.
