Final HF Antenna Work Day - Wednesday 12:00pm - And work completed today.

Hey everyone!

     Wednesday has been chosen as the work day. We need a minimum of 5 and would like 6 to 8 people there.

     Work was done on the tower today. The gin pole is up and secured, winch in place, and mast on the tower. All that's left to be done is to connect the coax, winch up the HF beam to the top, and clean up as necessary. I'm not completely sure if we are going to put the rotor on just yet but that can be accomplished in due time. We would like to get this project done as soon as possible, and before the weather turns really bad. We got some nice pictures in some really good, slightly windy, tower climbing weather. Please come out and support us! We need people on the ground as well as in the air. More will be discussed at the meeting tomorrow

I can jump over for an hr or two but i think the weather forecast looks bad.
it looks like the first nice day will be Saturday and Sunday should be nice also.
It will be colder but at least clear on the weekend.
