Hello,

At the last meeting there is a proposal to get some custom club tshirts with our logo on the back and your call sign on the front.

With unlimited colors, personalized shirts and the low price of $10 many people wanted to get several.

I wanted to extend the proposal to all those who were not able to make the meeting. What I would like from you is your name, call sign, # of shirts, and size.

Please respond as soon as you can, I would like to have this order out before the end of the semester

Thank you,
Andrew KD8JKF

Do you have a picture of said "logo", and what color will the image be?

Thanks!

The logo is multiple colors, I attached it to this email, though a member has offered to look at our logos and offered some designing services.

You guys may want to check with Yellow Jacket's t-shirts on North Main.

That's the shop that made our shirts a few years ago. They may still have the screen for that logo.

I will check it out, though, I believe I asked about that and the shirts were close to $15 with one or two colors.

The place is a new store that opened up on campus called "Custom.U", they will go digital printing with unlimited colors front and back, on t-shirts for under $10 depending on how many we order(+15 which we are above).

I will send out the logo in an email before we make that order. We plan to have the shirts gray(easier to see the print/neutral color), with the logo on the back, and your call sign on the front. To make it simple, there will be one font for all the call signs.

I will update you what i hear from Yellow Jacket, and any other information i have on the t shirts.

I called Yellow Jackets unfortunately they don't have our old silk screen, he does not keep them unless you go there more then a couple times a year or ask.

Though the numbers for going through him with a min of 24 shirts, one color logo and a name on the front costs $9.98 a shirt. 24 shirts, two color logo, and a name on the front costs $11.85 a shirt. Less then 24 shirts will cost more per shirt, as well if we add more colors, each will add $1.25 per shirt plus an additional $15 to the total to make another silk screen.

Prices from Custom.U for 15-19 shirts, with unlimited color logo and name on the front costs $9.77 per shirt. For 20-24 shirts, same as the above costs $9.65, for every increase of 5 shirts in our order will lower the price per $0.12.  Also talking to Custom.U, if you want a your name or call sign special please send me the file(.jpg, .psd, .al, whatever the original format is) you have.

Unless there is a cheaper and/or a reason to use another company to make our shirts, I believe we are going with Custom.U.  We will be asking a round $10 for ease and lack of penny change, with the extra going to our general funds for projects this and next semester. Check the James very well done minutes to see those.

If you have any questions or comments please send them.
