Well its getting close to that time of year where it will be way to cold to work on antennas on the roof.
We need to install our 6m beam, 2m/44 beam, and possibly our hf beam.

I would say once we see a Saturday that is ideal, we should get a group together and install them.

Ideally if we could get Paul and Jason to help that would be great.

Thank you,
KD8ZEI

I'm in. I can bring the antenna analyzer and some butal rubber for sealing connectors. This sat is bad, however.

Sound good jason. Does anyone have a pulley system to raise a hf beam?

Frank Tompkins  has a gin pole and has offered to help.
When the weather is nice on a weekend, we can get on the roof and start getting it together.

I have a lighter duty "gin pole'.  I used it to put up my folded dipole on my tower this summer.  It is a 8ft 1-1/2 thick walled alum pipe with a pulley.  Believe the pulley is rated for around 200lbs.  I then used some DX bracets to attach to the tower. However the brackets I have are only for horizontal to vertical clamping.

Alright everyone, let's shoot for Saturday November 5th 10am. If it is below 55, or bad weather it'll be a no go.

How does that work for everone?

If I'm not working I'll be there. I also just added the event to the club calendar.
