This will not be viva only, there is presentation on projector, and u have to explain every point wirtten in you slides one by one. at the end of your presentation when u r finished, the examiner will ask you questions, that were missing in your presentation and 80% to your specialization.
The questions are normally not from books but just ordinary concepts about marketing.
what is marketing.
difference btw marketing and sales (this is v important question)
what is marketing plan ?
what is SBU, department or division?
How your internship helps to experience marketing concepts (v important)
and many other, u should think of.

I second the views expressed by respected Marina. Marketing has more openings compare to rest.
Market is intergral part of any organization. End of the day its all about selling. If you can not market your product or services than existance of other depts. will be in danger.
So companies keep this dept either they are small, medium or large in size.
A good marketer is like magician whose carries all the skills to perfom in any situation.

No matters how many slides you have, they just come
on that slide from which they are to ask the questions.
They asked from students these types of questions:
What is difference between amortization and depreciation?
What is diff between Provision and reserve?
What are the inventories of the bank?
What is the sale or revenue in bank Income statement?
And they were mainly focusing on the ratio analysis and horizontal or vertical
analysis.
There were two panels, One that of female were some what lenient, but the other
was little bit strict. But the main thing they were observing was the
confidence of the student, If you don’t know any thing , just simply say sorry
, they will ask the other question
When there was my turn, I just get into room and connected Flash with pc ,then
I started Intro, She said me to come on the Training program. Then main

told them I did this this this, this was very interesting work in my view etc
and so on, then she asked the questions regarding the bank history and some
draw backs, she asked difference between Bearer and order cheque ,about
taxation on dividends, double taxation, Tax deducted at source, Deferred Tax
etc , about finance structure ,main sources of finance of bank.

well another specialization mean simply an additional certificate there will be no any improvements in your overall CG PA ,they will give you a certificate for an additional specialization..

Marina sis Finance specialization is just a door to get in the filed of accountancies it is not a complete study. I think the MBA fiancé must be banned from HEC as it contain just 4, or 5 subjects of finance as the fiancé filed contain to a broad discipline of studies.
MBA fiancé just help, if want to gain more qualification ,, as the ACMA is offering 9 paper exemption to MBA fiancé similarly ACCA is providing 4 paper exemption ,,,,, the simple MBA finance is nothing for acquiring job the Mse accounting and finance is better,,,, Finance specialization give u an edge and step to go with further studies,
Simply MBA fiancé specialization has no worth for getting job , but better for those who looking for further accountancies qualifications

Dear fellows;
I am not against anyone but this is my personal opinion that every specialization has its own worth. Marina sister, kindly do not de-motivate other finance students who choose finance specialization. Most of the pupil of virtual university can not afford another specialization & most do not have time, I think after getting good CGPA pupil can apply many finance/ accounts positions in reputable organizations and banks also or they can go for further education in this field.
All the best for pupil who choose finance specialization. May ALLAH bless them.

I admit that Marketing has value but in fact i personally like challenging life and it is true that like marketing, Management, HRM and MIS have also a great scope but i will boldly admit it that most of our fellows include me are trying to find some easy thing.
