Dear Sirs,

I am working as an accountant in Saudi Fal Company Limited Saudi Arabia.

I did MBA specialized in finance from Virtual University of Pakistan, after getting this degree, I was suppose to promote as a financial statement analyst because the qualification for this position is MBA specialized in finance. So I submitted my degree to exalt my potion but Labor Ministry of Saudi Arabia has rejected my case with the comments “Candidate degree does not show he did MBA specialized in finance”.

All of other candidates whose got their degrees from India, Syria, Jordan, Philippine or Saudi Arabia are showing their subject specialization on degrees.

Only VU degree is not showing subject specialization on degree.

None mention of subject specialization on degree is a very big setback in my professional life.

I would like to request to management of Virtual University to mention the subject specialization on degrees.

It will be a great help for Pakistani students to compete with other candidates in Saudi Labor market.

All Old and New MBA students kindly give concentration towards this issue. We want to mention our Specialization as well as CGPA on our FINAL  MBA DEGREE. For this purpose all MBA Students send an email to VU Rector and Registrar so that they should do something regarding this. It's the matter of All MBA Students not only one person to please make contribution.

I want to intend ur all intentions according to one issue...... I have done MBA-Finance in last semester fall 2011. My Many friends receive MBA degree with different specialization Finance, Management, HRM, Marketing...ect.

See attached Br. Basharat Transcript. it is showing Specialization in Marketing, it is v good & ok....... But on original degree, specialization words has not written. for example, Kindly view my friend Bilal degree. We are in practical field... Many of companies have asked us, why not the degree contain the Specialization words.We has showed them transcript, the companies has asked, transcript is not valid after degree.......

we has faced many this problems, here we all suggest to VU concern department...... please solve this issue

We are sure that you know that Virtual University of Pakistan is a public sector University, chartered by the Federal Government, with the honorable President of Pakistan as its Chancellor. It is also a recognized institution (recognized by the Higher Education Commission, Pakistan). However, every university is independent to devise and adopt its own format of Degree/Transcript etc. In VU, a Degree does not bear the CGPA and/or area of Specialization, whereas the Transcript contains these details.

 

Moreover, we are here to serve our students. If any organization/institution/student is willing to verify the contents of degree/transcript issued by VU, a request may be forwarded at document_v...@vu.edu.pk in this regard.

Below VU answer can not satisfied us. Why not, the VU show the specialization word on degree like other universities as it described in below email. Organizations or Companies are not under Virtual University of Pakistan, they demands degree according to their requirement otherwise they reject us. They have not need to verify our degree in this competency age where many other candidate are awaiting the same job with write degree. Only Govt. organization rarely verify the degree from respective universities.  

For example kindly read below yellow highlighted email of my friend in Saudi Arabia Mr. Mujahid MBA-Finance... Ministry of Labor KSA has rejected his case of promotion due to degree not contain the specialization finance word.

Kindly do again and again emails to VU management to solve this issue otherwise u will have face this problems in future.............

Sir.. Believe me,,, we old VU student are open advertiser of Virtual University of Pakistan. It is our responsibility, if we find any deficiency in university work/ deeds as comparitive to market, we should report our higher VU management for solving this issue.

 

Now i need the degree also for changing the designation of Accountant in Iqama (visa=saudi arabia resident permit)..... I know Ministry of Labour will reject my case because of degree does not contian the specialization finance words as have done with my friends..... Ministry of Labor do not accept the Final Transcritp and it demands the reletive degree if we want to change the designation in our visa (work permit).

We are in practical field.... Believe me no one will listen you particular Ministry of Labour in Saudi Arabia. Also company and organization will not listen you in this age of competency where there is lines of candidates are awaiting for same post with write degree.
