another.
if its possible could you provide me with more information regarding
installing it on the boxes and how to set it up and using it

PS.. every time i click on the link for English user support (by

Until now I though it was easy, but ok, let me try to describe how-it-works
a bit:

Client:
=====

As client can be used any of HD Dreambox (800PVR, 800se, 8000 ...)
or Linux PC.

For Dreambox - you need to install only one
additional plugin (you get get it from vtuner google code pages)
and you are ready to use it.

Linux PC needs to install vtunerc.ko virtual tuner driver and also
vtunerc.i686 (or vtunerc.x86-64) application daemon. When driver
vtunerc.ko is loaded and you start vtunerc.i686, then you have
linux PC also ready for use.

Server:
======

As server can be, again, used any linux PC or Dreambox (in this
case - any Dreambox, even SD models like 7000, 500, 600PVR or so).

You need to start vtunerd.i686 (or on 64bit linux vtunerd.x86-64)
on PC to get local DVB tuner accessible by remote client.
If you want to use Dreambox as server, you have to stop
using Enigma there and again - start vtunerd.ppc or vtunerd.mipsel15
depending on architecture.

If you have more questions, don't hesitate to ask again.

Strange, I can post to vtuner-...@googlegroups.com without any
problem.
