Subject: Surveying EBT customers

Hi Folks,
We have been running our own winter version of the Harvest Health Coupon
program this season - those of you using EBT machines in the past 2 seasons
are familiar with these EBT incentive coupons.
We now want to survey our customers as to the impact this has had on their
access to fresh healthy local food over the winter.
Rather than recreating the wheel, I thought I'd check to see if any one had
a similar type of survey they'd be willing to share that we can tweak to
reflect our situation.

Thanks much!

Sherry

Sherry-
Great question and funny that you should ask! At an EBT steering Committee meeting yesterday we talked about developing a simple yet universal Harvest Health coupon survey for all VT FM participants. I am unsure if the timeline will match yours but I have included both Erin from NOFA and Rachel from UVM Center for Sustainable Ag who are taking the lead on this to get their feedback.
I know we can help provide something- even if it is the survey that was developed a few years back.

Thanks,
Abbey

Thanks Abbey!

I did think there was a survey already in use for Harvest Health maybe in
2010.  Don't recall seeing anything last summer for it.  Erin might know
about that.  Maybe I'll put a query out on the FMC list as well and will
surely share back with you, Erin and Rachel anything I get back.
