Well, my second week at the Elysium saw my Toreadors fare better
(albeit with the help of two other Methuselahs).

Table 1 was Aaron-->Garet-->Jeff S--> Robert G

I will leave this to others since I was in the other game

Table 2 Scythe (TORE)--> Jeff P (BRUJAH)-->Mike(VENTRUE)-->
Wedge(BRUJAH)-->Me (TORE)

First...Yes, we played with contesting rules in full effect. Before
the game starts everyone says"Hey Hey, we better talk!" Scythe says I
want the prince of New York and I say "I want an 8-cap with one vote."
We agree!
Jeff Tells Matt I might be considering bringing up a prince of a
little town called Monaco. Matt says "Fine." Matt starts fast bringing
out garret and 2 other minions. But Mike starts faster, bringing out
several minions....none of which are Ventrue. Before matt can lay into
me, mike bleeds with heavy dominate. Soon however, his mojo fails him
and he can't seal the deal. This gives everyone else time to build up.
I bring out Kateline and Scythe curses the day I was born. He says,"
Why don't you talk to me first! (I'm sure he was thinking "MORON" in
his head)" Jeff says," No, you should've talked to him." He says ,"
I'm still bringing her out!" he does and the contesting silliness
begins! Soon after Jeff does the same to with Garret the Brujah 3-cap
and Matt has a look of dismay as he flips the 4-cap (I cycled an
auspex card on his Garrett) over. Matt seems out of it until Bakr(?)
arrives to save his game (bakr has a +1-stealth rush). Scythe is bled
out as the public trust favors the true Toreador at the table.
(Really, he voluntarily continued to contest and seemed satisfied to
let me get the VP instead of Matt.) Mike's minions repeatedly take
Bakr's knuckles to the face and retire to torpor. Jeff relishes the
opportunity to dunk My Eugene who has a dodge (card text) + Maneuver
(IR Goggles) + desert eagle! Matt then diablorizes with Bakr to take
the gun and the goggles. Jeff is able to oust Mike, as all his minions
were in torpor! I bleed with more public trust! Jeff exhausts all
defense which involves burning a boon to force me to take my own
leverage bleed! (I felt just like the Kings getting punked by Ilya
KovalchuK) Jeff contests to the end, literally. He spends his last
pool to contest Garrett (Again, he seemed quite content to give me the
VP and not Matt!) Well, bakr just rushes everyone of my minions into
torpor. So matt took 2 vp, Me 2vp , jeff 1vp.

correction... Matt diablerized with Garret, then took the gun and
goggles with bakr. THEN Jeff contested one turn to late!

I guess I could do a short report about the other game. I have done
my best to remember the flow of the game, although most details escape
me. I even researched the other vampires' names!

Jeff S. (Brujah) -> Robert G. (Toreador) -> Aaron (Malkavian) -> Garet
(Ventrue)

Quick recap: Lutz von Hohenzollern + Into Thin Air + Eyes of Chaos =
ousted preys. I got the best possible seat with the Brujah, the
Malkavians' nemeses, being their cross-table "allies."

Minions:
Jeff: Garret(?), Tomaine, Jann Berger(?)
Robert: Sean Andrews, Eugene, Kateline Nadasdy
Aaron: Cassandra Langely, the Waif; Lutz von Hohenzollern; Morel
Garet: Jackson Asher, Joao Bilé, Johannes Castelein

The game got started with everyone getting out a 2- or 3-cap vampire.
Robert immediately started equipping. Jeff was covetous of his
neighbor's guns, so he rushed and torporized Sean Andrews, but the
diablerie didn't quite work out. However, he did use some nifty card
from a LoN pack that allowed him to search his deck for anything
(!?!). Cassandra sat around waiting for Lutz since she didn't have
any Obfuscate to get her bleeds through. Whenever Jeff was tapped out
from rushing, hunting with his Vesseled minion, or Presence-bleeding,
Garet lit into him with Dominate bleeds. Robert was playing a
balancing act between forward bleed/voting, equipping, and trying to
survive the Brujah rushes/PRE-bleeds. Once Lutz and then Morel were
out on the field, stealth bleeding began in earnest.

Whenever Jeff rushed backwards, Garet had prevention or S:CE.
Whenever he went forward, the Brujah and Toreador combats seemed to
cancel each other out. Whenever he wanted to Harass the Malkavians,
the only one he could knock into torpor was poor, waifly Cassandra, so
he did. Some Malkavian and Brujah bleeds got bounced, but everyone
bled (more or less) responsibly. Kateline could cancel Lutz's votes
to get Robert's KRCs through, but that only hurt Garet as well, thanks
to Lutz. Robert made consistent in-roads on my pool with minimal
blocking on my part. (What does a Public Trust action supposed to
represent, anyhow?)

Eventually both Garet and Jeff were on the ropes after taking heavy
bleeds. Garet hadn't gotten a Prince and access to 2nd Tradition
until his third vampire. Robert seemed to be in good shape: Eugene
had a sniper rifle, desert eagle, and the Bowl of Convergence;
Kateline had the Ivory Bow. Lutz and Morel tag-teamed Garet's pool,
ousting him. Jeff's KCRG News Radio wasn't enough to help him stop
the invisible Malkavians another turn later. It was down to big eye
versus black square. Unfortunately for Robert, Into Thin Air can
generate the equivalent of 3 stealth (!?!) for Lutz, which can be
further augmented, and the so-called intercept deck just doesn't have
that kind of mojo. With Eyes of Chaos for the win, stealth bleed wins
again (in general, not in the league :0), and everyone died a little
more on the inside.
