Wondering if the commit ffd733e909593c4e6553a629ccfe271771b1a0f3 "Fixed timeout behavior in boost asio recvfrom." is suitable for backport to 3.0. Is there more information on what issue this fixes? (I use DTrack driver on Windows, so the boost socket code is very important to me :D ) I had noticed that sometimes apps would take a long time/forever to close if there was some issue with the tracker, does this address a related issue?

Sorry for taking so long on this. It is committed in 3.0 now and
should address boost socket close issues.
