do you need a laptop to project your video with mask? can i save file to media box?

I was wondering if i can save the file afterwards so i can export the video/with mask into my media box so i can project without a laptop in the space?

If you are on a mac you can capture your output using syphon recorder, you might have some luck with a fast screen capture program, but there is no built-in render to file functionality in VPT.

Hi Emma,

 I tried this but unfortunately the Apacer media player wouldn't play out the file onto the mapped object the same size as the laptop output - despite saving the file in Syphon Recorder at the same resolution as the projector output.We also tried it with a WD Media player but with the same results. 

 Perhaps if you try different media player or fiddle around with the screen resolution settings you'll have better luck than us...?
