Hey there :)

I am trying to load a video with an osc trigger but having no luck.

According to the OSC command guide i should set up the OSC message like this : /moviesource101/chilledform.mov

VPT 6 gets the message but nothing happens, i also tried it without the file extension - using /moviesource101/random works just fine.

Am i formatting it correctly? Is what im attempting even possible?

Any help is greatly appreciated :) Finding this software incredibly useful and will be posting a video of my project when its done.

Hi,
you forget to tell moviesouce which parameter you are accessing, the correct syntax (as shown in the osc overview) is /moviesource101/video chilledform.mov
alternatively use /moviesource101/clipnr yourclipnr

Thanks for the reply :)

I have formatted my OSC message like you said, firstly this /moviesource101/clipnr 1 and this /moviesource101/video/ chilledform.mov, both still no avail :|

Is there anything I'm doing wrong?

Thanks :)

for the second one you have a slash too many, there shouldnt be one after video.
Apart from that I am not sure why it isnt working

Still nothing :(

Do i have to configure anything in the router or find the right OSC message for it to work?

Thanks for your patience HC

Best
