I love the time feature as it gives me a way to track my estimated
time vs real time. However, when I complete a task it updates the time
for the task to the full amount of estimated time. I'd rather it just
keep it at the actual time the task took. It helps me see what I
actually spend on tasks and if I go over/under in my time.

Good point, Joe. I think I'm inclined to change it so that it only
copies the estimate into time elapsed if the elapsed time is 0; if
you've entered a time or used the timer, it would remain at what you'd
entered. I think that is a slightly more useful behavior, in case you
have a short task that you haven't been timing but still want it to
contribute to the total time elapsed.

Does anyone depend on the current behavior? Does anyone think this
change would be confusing or otherwise bad?

thanks,
shimon.

Not a bad idea with the <> 0 condition. I guess it eliminates most of
the bad consequences. What about rounding off? I bill my customers for
every 15 mins. started (for one context, 1 hour started for others).
What about making rounding up an option?

I would think that rounding off could be done after the fact (like,
right before billing) rather than as the data is being collected.
