Hello All
just in case nobody noticed.
add by mail is useless to me because my outlook uses a different
encoding than the voodo server is expecting so i get back only an
error message...

Thanks for the report, Peter. I'm aware of this issue and will be
working to resolve it in an upcoming version of Voo2do. Apologies for
the inconvenience.

Hi Peter,

Thank you for your recent feedback regarding bugs with Voo2do's handling of email encodings. I've just released a new version of Voo2do for beta testing, and this new version should fix that bug. I hope you'll be able to give it a look. Just login using your existing email/password at:

(You should get the same task email address as you had before, except @beta.voo2do.com instead of @voo2do.com.)

When you login, the beta will automatically copy your data from the main voo2do.com. You can also re-copy this data anytime, so you can experiment with the beta as much as you want. If you like it, feel free to switch to it permanently -- just change your bookmarks and the address you use for submitting tasks by email. Once the beta test has concluded, this will become the main version of Voo2do.

New features in this beta include:
- automatic saving of task changes as your edit (no more save button)
- expanding description column - more room for big screens
- improved email handler - accepts most language encodings and HTML mail
- lots of little improvements and bug fixes

I'm hoping you'll find many things to like about the new version. It represents a major rewrite of much of Voo2do, however, so there are probably also some bugs. Please let me know about any issues you encounter and I will do my best to fix them promptly. Your feedback is highly appreciated.

Enjoy!
shimon.

Whoops - I had meant to reply directly to Peter rather than to the
list.

I guess the secret is out now, though :) This is very early in the
beta cycle, but if you're curious please have at it!
