Info on Carrier Licence in USA, Please!

Hi all,

Can somebody please let me know how to get a VoIP Carrier Licence in
the USA for routing traffic to India?

We already have a fully functional registered company in California,
USA.

Please pass-on any info (websites, forums, contacts).

Appreciate your help in this regard.

Hi. You don't need a carrier license in the USA just to route traffic
to India. If you want to give out US phone numbers, you need to
support e911 and such, so that's a little more complicated. Contact
NENA (http://www.nena.org/). If you are just doing calling card, etc.
Don't worry about the US. Just do business.

I couldn't tell you how the Indian govt. might feel about that. My
understanding is that they permit VoIP for toll bypass these days, but
they probably regulate it to some extent..
