This group is primarily non technical and we discuss the issues surrounding VoIP in India. VoIP is regulated in India and interconnections between a VoIP network
and lanline/mobile network is not allowed. The primary reason is to
protect the monopoly on International termination/interconnect rates. As a result we consumers are left out of the benifits VoIP can bring to us.
Our objective is to create awareness amongst consumers and do something about it. Join us if you are interested in VoIP and want to see the current policy change.
