We are looking for an experienced researcher (PostDoc or at least 4

year) in the field of lidar remote sensing for studying habitats in
accordance with the Fauna-Flora-Habitat Directive of the European Union.

We are looking for an experienced researcher (PostDoc or at least 4
years of research experience after having obtained Master/Diploma
Degree) for one year (with the possibility of extending for another
year) in the field of lidar remote sensing for studying habitats in
accordance with the Fauna-Flora-Habitat Directive of the European Union.
In this context especially structural parameters of tall vegetation
relevant for biodiversity monitoring have to be extracted from point
clouds acquired by airborne laser scanning, including additional
attributes from full waveform lidar. We require from the candidates that
they are familar with processing and interpretation of geo-data and
that they have experience in monitoring of the environment. This
position is offered within the EU FP7 Marie Curie IAPP project
ChangeHabitats 2,

Eligible persons must not have resided nor have carried out their main
activities within Austria for more than 12 months in the three years
immediately prior to the appointment under the ChangeHabitats2 project.
