Today the Diocese of Los Angeles was informed by our Diocesan Bishop, J. Jon Bruno, that he has been diagnosed with Acute Monocytic Leukemia.  He is immediately beginning aggressive treatment.  He is a strong man, but a diabetic.  His doctors believe he can beat it.  That said, he is frightened.  Please pray for him, Mary, his wife, his medical team and the diocese.  Thanks, Margaret Johnson, St. Mark's/Van Nuys, CA
