Hello Khomsan Ph.,

Is it possible to add ipv6 support to wget?
I found such a version on
http://opensourcepack.blogspot.com/2010/05/wget-112-for-windows.html
It works, but it's incapable with vwget:
unrecognized option `--visualwget-listening-port=54447'

Another problem is that many download sites require referer, and I
have to add it in job dialog manually every time. Is it possible to
transport parameter [REFER] from FlashGot to vwget? I know wget can
handle this, I want to use vwget as a front-end though.

Thanks.

Hello Zyx,

I'm not yet try building wget 1.12.
But it seem that building wget 1.12 for window
is currently not easily possible.
VWget use custom-built wget binary
so you got the listening port unrecognise option.

For passing referer, yes, if flashgot support passing
referer, you can pass it to visualwget via command line.
But remember to use only the long option format,
that is, --referer=URL, the referer has only long format anyway.

Thank you,
Khomsan

Hi,

In the FlashGot FAQ they have this information for wget ... seems to
be directly translatable to VisualWget, which gives full FlashGot
support!

Win wget
Executable path:
C:\System32\cmd.exe
Arguments template:
/C start wget -c [--directory-prefix=FOLDER] [--referer=REFERER] [--
post-data=POST] [--load-cookies=CFILE] [--header=Cookie:COOKIE] [--
input-file=UFILE]

So ... instead of just [URL], you can put in [--directory-
prefix=FOLDER] [--referer=REFERER] [--post-data=POST] [--load-
cookies=CFILE] [--header=Cookie:COOKIE] [--input-file=UFILE]

Hope it helps :)

Hello BrainDedd & Khomsan Ph.,

Thanks for your replies
Yes it works perfectly. Previously I thought vwget simply recognize
the arguments as URL as a whole, and later I found that I put in wrong
arguments.
Thanks again for your help. Now vwget is my default downloader :)
