To save someone the hassle:

The relevant line is in RunTime\QueryCommand.cs (http://
visuallogparser.codeplex.com/S ourceControl/changeset/view/
10597#159528) and is as follows.

int maxUnitsInResults = 5000;

You could easily store this in app.config, and then simply pull the
value when the application starts.

HI Tung.

The last time I checked the source, the 5000 rows was baked into the
code. If you modify that line and rebuild, you'll be able to return as
many records as you'd like.

Nice,
I really like the tool.
Trying to learn some of the LogParser semantics, and Visual Log Parser
absolutely reduces the learning curve.

Not much happening on the CodePlex site, last release is 1.0 Beta. On
the SerialCoder.Net site, we can download 1.2.0.3 though.
Is the code now "out of sync" on CodePlex?

I can report some good news, since I last wrote. As you may notice, the old
logparser.com site redirects to iis.net. Well, I found a very recent
discussion thread acknowledging the move with a suggestion that they are
working on migrating the old site content in:

yes, the logparser site is indeed gone :(
i wish there was another group or forum, but i havent found one yet.
and this visual log parser group seems to be dead also. nobody ever replies

Error thrown when loading vlp file

I am new to programming, but do have VS 2005, and when i debug the
project, and run it, I attempt to load a vlp file and this error is
thrown..
iCodepage parameter does not exists for inputFormat IISW3C
any ideas?
Does anyone have a pre-compiled .exe already? maybe i'm doing
something wrong.

Visual log parser is only Graphical User Interface for logparser, for
running VLP need Logparser 2.2.

Having trouble installing VsiualLogparser

I have downloaded the version current as of today (8Jan07). The exe
file shows the version number 8.0.50727.42 (RTM.050727-4200).
When I run the installer setup.exe, it first tries to install LogParser
(already installed), then after briefly displaying a window "verifying
application requirements" gives an installation failure message saying
