Vista expert needed in San Diego

Palladian Consulting, a leader in IT services is seeking a VistA Mumps
Programmer for a San Diego, Ca opportunity.

This is a fulltime employee position

You will be is responsible for all VistA programming interface with
our products and installation.

This position will utilize your knowledge of VistA information
systems, RPCs, and what RPCs are utilized for CPRS Modules. You will
be responsible for setting up and installing VistA; developing inbound
and outbound HL7 (Health Level 7) interfaces; and developing RPC and
FileMan functions and routines. You will provide information, advice,
and recommendations to leadership on VistA information system and
programming.

Qualifications

: A minimum of 3 years of work experience as a MUMPS Programmer which
must include experience with:

: Installing and upgrading VistA systems on Linux,

: VistA RPC*s and FileMan silent calls to include troubleshooting RPC
issues,

: Creating software that utilizes RPCs.

: BS degree in Computer Science or related field is required. An
additional 4 years of directly related experience may be accepted in
lieu of a degree.

: Knowledge of VistA information systems; plus VistA RPCs and what
RPCs are utilized for CPRS Modules.

: Knowledge of M or MUMPS language/database and the ability to
integrate into mainstream, state-of-the-art technologies.

: Knowledge of HL7 (Health Level 7) interface set-up and programming.

: Knowledge of healthcare EMR/medical device systems from a software
engineering programming perspective.

: Experience with VistA Pharmacy system is preferred.

: Able to quickly become knowledgeable with CCI products/services and
to produce results based on this knowledge.

: US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a DoD ADP security
clearance and a VA security clearance.
