Dear List,

I am unclear how to show a relationship path through a web diagram (or
if this is possible given my link variables). I would like to show
that actor A (Jacob Garchik, center) met actor C (Kronos Quartet,
uppper left) through actor B (Slavic Soul Party, upper left); but as
actor A (JAcob Garchik) now has a working relationship with actor C
(Kronos), I'm not sure how to do this in the present network (please
see attached network jpeg).

Maybe I need to abstract the three actors in a less complex network
diagram to show the pathway of meetings and relationships?

Please advise.

Best,

Amanda

Dear Amanda,

you could add bends to the edges and change their properties to be bezier curves. (add bend by e.g. clicking on the edge and dragging, select edge, right-click on it->properties, select bezier for shape)

By placing the bend to the third actor the edge would make a curve into the direction of the this actor but then go finally to the target node.

Note that this could also be very confusing for a user, but it's worth a try.

greetings
