As Poetry Month moves toward its climax, come out to Women and Children
First Bookstore this Thursday, April 26th at 7:00 for a group reading from
the new anthology *City of the Big Shoulders*, fresh from the University of
Iowa Press.

I will be one of those reading and would love to see you there. For details

*And* do remember to celebrate National Poetry Month at the 13th annual
Chicago Poetry Fest 2012 at the Harold Washington Library Center on
Saturday, April 28th. It's a free day-long event featuring poetry readings,
workshops and other exciting activities, especially Albert DeGenova's
workshop, "To Publish, or Not to Publish: Page vs. Stage," in the Video
Theater from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Seating is limited for all programs, especially workshops. Please arrive
promptly in order to get a seat.

Just to clarify -- this announcement is from Larry Janowski, who will be
reading Thursday along with Erika Mikkalo, Michael Austin, Viola Lee, Nina
Corwin, Christina Pugh, Julie Parson Nesbitt, Marty McConnell, and Ann
Hudson. A spectacular group of readers and a wonderful anthology!
