Query - Cancellation of Mid Term

[mc120200177 Muhammad Akseer Safdar]

Hi Friends:  Today my Midterm paper was cancelled by the exam supervisor on account of using my personal calculator instead of System calculator (Pathetic and stupid reason though). I just want to ask that -- the questions which I had saved before closing of the Browser window would be marked or the paper will be considered completely cancelled.

 

Any comments on what should I do about it.

Try to contact with examination department bcz i think separate calculator is allowed I saw a lot of students are using their calculator instead of computer calculator.

yes, separate calculator is allowed, this is so stupid act of that supervisor, some tasks can not be easily performed on computerized calculator. I have also saw many students  using their calculators during exams. What kind of rule it is.... that you cant even use calculator in xamz... on our datesheet , I did not saw that calculator is not allowed in exam hall. how that supervisor canceled your paper. yes , if you are using a computerized calculator , which can save answers. Then he has the right to cancel the paper. but if you are using ordinary or scientific calculator then it is stupid act and it should be condemned.

Separate rules for different papers. Sometimes it is allowed. Sometimes not allowed. Depends on the subject. All such insstructions (allowed/notallowed) are given individually in the paper. Should read those instructions carefully

for overseas students using separate calculator is not allow. if anyone wants to use calculator  ,he/she have to use build-in computer calculator. and you can convert that simple calculator to scientific one,

Just inform the examination department, they will tell you about the rules

it is written on exam instruction that separate calculator is not allowed then how can you use calculator just read the instruction before starting exam and please stop complaining its just your mistake.

and for your kind information the paper you have complete it will be graded but its result will be late and may you will have to pay fine  for the settlement.

Multan Campus ... I have wriiten an application to university to not cancel my paper and that I will abide by the rules in future .
